When will I be reminded of gifts I need to buy? [top]
Piggsy will email you 21 and 14 days before any date you specify, along with suggested gifts based on the information you set up.

What information do you need about me? [top]
All we need from you is:

A valid email address
Your name
Your date of birth

What information about my friends and family do I need to input? [top]
The more information you give Piggsy, the better selection of gift ideas you’ll get. You’ll need to give us the following:

Their name
Their date of birth
The maximum budget you would spend on a gift (or gifts)

You can then select their interests from a list. Remember, the more interests you select, the bigger selection of great gift ideas you’ll be sent!

So what do you send me? [top]
Piggsy will send you an email to remind you of the date, and will give you a few present ideas. You can click straight from an item you select from the email to visit the store that sells it. If nothing there grabs your attention, a link on the email will take you to your Piggsy account where you will see a full list of suggestions.

How does Piggsy know what gifts to suggest? [top]
We look at the gender, age and the interests you select of the person you need to buy a gift for, along with the budget you have set. Piggsy then works it’s magic and makes it’s suggestions. The more information you give it, the more selections you’ll get.

Do I have to buy what you suggest? [top]
No, not at all. Piggsy will make a number of suggestions but, whilst they may give you an idea of what to buy, the suggestions may not be absolutely perfect. Once you have clicked the link you can refine your search in the store to find the gift that you want.

Can I change the details of people I enter? [top]
Yes. You can change any of your preferences, or delete them entirely.

How many people can I add to my diary? [top]
You can add as many as you like!

How do I add my friends and family’s details? [top]
You can either enter these manually or, if you are a Facebook user, you can import them directly from your friends list.

Can I use Piggsy without registering and entering my friends and family’s details? [top]
Yes. Just click the Go Shopping Now link and you can use Piggsy totally anonymously. This, of course, means that you won’t receive any reminder emails, so you won’t be getting the full benefit of our services.

Do I need to give you any Credit Card details? [top]
Nope. Any gifts you purchase via Piggsy are bought from the stores themselves. Piggsy will not ask you for a payment of any sort.

Are all of your stores legitimate and safe? [top]
Yes. Most of the stores on Piggsy are household names. Those that aren’t have been vetted by Piggsy to ensure any payments you make with them are processed securely.

Will I get lots of Spam emails? [top]
Nope. We don’t pass any of your details to other companies. Piggsy may occasionally send you information we think you may find useful, or questionnaires asking how we can improve our service, but you can opt-out of this when you register (or at any time in your Account Preferences), meaning you’ll only receive notification emails.

What should I do if I have a problem with one of your stores? [top]
Although you are dealing directly with the store when you buy, please let us know if you have any problems. Piggsy want you to have a great shopping experience. If any of our stores aren’t delivering this we will contact them and, if necessary, remove them from this site.

If there’s a type of gift I want to see, but can’t find on Piggsy, can you add it? [top]
We’re always looking to improve our service, so let us know and we’ll see what we can do!

Can I let my friends and family know about Piggsy? [top]
Absolutely! Piggsy can be used by anyone. Who knows, they may add you to their diary...

Can I let people know I’ve added them to my Piggsy diary? [top]
Yes, please do. You can post a message to your Facebook wall, or email your friends straight from Piggsy to tell them. The more people that know about Piggsy, the more gift lists you may end up on!
